Race Details
Strides Canmore, Salomon, and CAMBA will play host to the 3rd annual Park to Pints road race, offering participants the opportunity for a tune up race before their next marathon or simply to come out with friends, enjoy a 5km or 10km and celebrate with drinks, food, and live music. Park to Pints is a celebration of our community and the 2026 running season, with all proceeds raised from the event going back to our local trail organization.
Sign in will begin at 3:00pm on the field at OLS and close at 4:30. Race start time is 5:00pm for the 10km wave with the 5km wave to start at 5:15pm. All participants should be in the start corral, prepared to ‘toe the line’ at least 10 minutes before the start of their race.
All courses will ‘close’ with a sweep starting at 6:00pm. Racers will be turned towards the finish and accompany the sweepers if they are not on pace to finish by 6:30pm. Please take this into account when registering for your preferred distance.
Stick around after for a beer garden, live music from The Ducks, and some of Canmore’s finest food trucks to fuel your post race cravings.
Early bird registration is open now!
Once again, registration will be completed through our partner, Zone 4.
$40 for the 5km and $45 for the 10km — Prices go up May 1st @ noon!
Registration includes your race entry, professional timing, a professionally marked course, and finisher beer or NA beverage. In order to reduce our impact on the environment, please bring a reusable cup if you plan to use our aid station on course. Please also bring your own race nutrition as we will be aiming for a zero waste event.
Late entries will be considered by emailing contact@camba.ca with the subject Park to Pints - Late Entry Request.
Course Map
A Canmore classic, the 5km and 10km courses feature their fair share of hills but also some downhill sections where time can be made up!
NEW THIS YEAR: due to ongoing construction and some suggestions from the local running community, we have decided to cut some vert off the 10k course. This year, the 10k course will be a double looped course with spectator zones set up at the end of your first loop (think beer garden, screaming fans, and maybe a DJ) along with several spectator access points along the course (nothing like being cheered on while you're red lining). We believe that this course will provide a similar experience to participants while eliminating significant pinch points and major road crossings in the out and back section of our original course.

After Party
Bring your puffy jacket and stick around for the beer garden, curry dinner from Authentic Indian, and live music from The Ducks!
Join Our Volunteer Team
Volunteers are what make community races the best experience possible for participants. Whether it is their first race ever or the last race of a participant's career, the volunteer team is often what people remember from their race! Help is needed for set-up, tear-down, on-course support, medical, and traffic control. If you have some spare time or are tapering for your next race, join our volunteer team at the link below. Each volunteer will receive an entry to the 2027 Park to Pints along with a drink ticket to be used in our beer gardens after their shift concludes:
A meeting for all volunteers will be held on Monday September 28th at 7:00pm via Zoom, with a recording made available to those who cannot attend. Volunteer shifts are eligible for high school volunteer hours.
